Plain-language summary
mimi uses two first-party authentication cookies to keep account holders signed in, browser storage for interface choices and onboarding state, and app-scoped iPhone storage for the LAND pocket brief. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, fingerprinting, or analytics cookies. Because no optional tracking runs on arrival, mimi does not currently show a consent banner.
1. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small value a site asks your browser to return with later requests. Local storage is a browser-only store that does not travel with each request. For transparency, this policy covers both.

3. What we do not use
mimi does not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, session replay, browser fingerprinting, or cookies designed to recognise you across unrelated websites. We do not currently run product analytics in the browser.
4. Consent and Global Privacy Control
Strictly necessary cookies are set because they are required to provide the account service you request. The functional values above remember choices or drafts you make in the interface; they are not used to follow you across services. mimi does not currently set optional analytics or advertising cookies, so a reject/accept banner would not change what loads on first visit.
We treat Global Privacy Control and similar recognised signals as an opt-out from any future sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or non-essential tracking. None of those activities is currently present.
5. Managing storage
Your browser settings can display, block, or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking the authentication cookies will prevent sign-in. Clearing browser storage resets the saved interface choices and onboarding state. The LAND pocket brief can be edited to empty in the app and is also cleared by explicit sign-out or account deletion.
6. Changes and contact
We will update this roster before adding a new cookie category. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technology, we will also add consent controls where required.
